Founded by Joseph Lodge in 1896, Lodge Cast Iron is the oldest family-owned cast iron cookware manufacturer in America. Lodge is headquartered in South Pittsburg, TN—cast iron’s hometown since the very beginning—where it operates two foundries, a distribution center, administrative offices, a culinary center, and the Museum of Cast Iron. The company has been in continuous operation for 130+ years, supporting local workers, and creating cookware that brings families together for generations. In addition to making classic skillets, dutch ovens, and griddles, Lodge is also an industry pioneer. In 2002, the company became the first to pre-season cookware—something that has since become the industry standard. From enameled cast iron to carbon steel, Lodge has continuously expanded its offering to bring high-quality cookware to the world.
