Tennessee Galvanizing

Tennessee Galvanizing

Tennessee Galvanizing produces top quality, competitively priced galvanizing that is environmentally friendly and places a special emphasis on Quality & Customer Service.

Hot dip galvanizing is the process of applying a zinc coating to fabricated iron or steel material by immersing the material in a bath consisting primarily of molten zinc.

Tennessee Galvanizing has been in business for over 20 years and has expanded its current 23-acre location in order to handle a new centrifuge process and additional warehouse space.

Tennessee Galvanizing provides metal galvanizing, a process of coating a metal, usually iron or steel, with a protective covering of zinc.

Tennessee Galvanizing is one of only a few galvanizing companies to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and to use environmentally friendly, self contained systems which are based on resource recovery and recycling, and we are the only locally owned and operated Galvanizing Plant in Tennessee.

Tennessee Galvanizing uses only Special High Grade Zinc which is very low in impurities and toxic metals such as lead. Prime Western Grade Zinc which is used by many galvanizers can contain as much as 1.4% lead and up to 0.2% cadmium.

Zinc applied to steel can add 40 years to the life of a component or facility. No other coating can match the barrier and cathodic protection that zinc provides.
